First Reactions to Dutch Anti-Quran Film Are Muted

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands — Is this all? That has been the general reaction to "Fitna,' the anti-Koran film by Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders.
It took a bit of time before the movie, released on the Internet Thursday, picked up attention. An hour after its release about 75,000 people had watched the movie, but soon afterward the online traffic numbers jumped to over 700,000 for the Dutch version and 200,000 for the English version.
The film cites verses of the Koran interspersed with images of violence from terrorist attacks in the United States and Spain and the murder of Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh on an Amsterdam street.
After heated debate preceding the release of the film, first reactions seem to be muted.
The first political party to react was the left socialist party SP, whose leaders said they saw nothing new — just a collection of paper clippings and footage and the same old generalizing Geert Wilders.
Brahim Bourzak, a spokesperson for the National Moroccan Representation, said he was very relieved after he saw the movie.
The worries for riots that he shared with the Dutch society have diminished, he said. According to Bourzik the efforts from the Dutch government have added to this relief.
He said Wilders must have thought hard about the movie and that it is within the boundaries of the law.
Moroccan mosques will open up for all Dutch people on Friday.
The Moroccan Representation will give a press conference in the El Ouma mosque in Amsterdam on Friday morning.

- Braaaaaavo, I wonder if the leftards party figured it out by themselves or need it an Islamic scholar to find that out? I totally agree, there is nothing new. As I commented when we posted the movie, it’s islam “business as usual.” Mass murdering, beheadings, vilifying all non muslims, incitement for killing, spreading terror and desolation is never new to islam. It’s 1400 years old. Did they expected Geert Wilders to come up and promote a “corrupted” Koran? Any bid’Aa (innovation) is forbidden by islam, and considered a sin deserving the same punishment as apostasy.
- As for, “just a collection of paper clippings and footage and the same old generalizing Geert Wilders.” You mean you didn’t see the Koran? It was about “the Koran for idiots,” you stupid. Ooooooooooops, I almost forgot. Those paper clippings by the way are what is left from the lives of thousands of innocent and harmless people, like your loved ones I assume. And it’s not Geert “generalizing it,” it’s not him that did the killings. The generalization is in the koran, that's what the movie was about. You didn't see that either? But again, don’t take my word for it, check the Koran, or call an Imam, or ask the audience.
- Hey, pssssst, are you color blind? It’s not about the different "forms" of islam. Again, it’s about “the Koran for idiots,” and there is only one Koran fits all. Fundamentalists have no separate or different Korans. At least that’s what we hear muslims saying. But don’t take my word for it, go ask them.
Brahim Bourzak, a spokesperson for the National Moroccan Representation, said he was very relieved after he saw the movie.
- Praise be to allah Brahim, oufffffffffffff, what a relief! Shukran (thanks) for reassuring us Brahim. I agree, it’s a veeeeeeeeeeery relieving movie. Now the whole Islamic Umma can go relieve itself, and flush it away. Huh, you know what Brahim, that reminds me when the holy prophet (PBUH) use to go to relieve himself, that’s when he received the revelation of Al – Fatiha, you remember? I guess that’s what made the Koran “the relieving book.” Besides, that movie is no match to the jihadists brothers beheading's shows. By the way Brahim, what you think of the background music, it’s soothing, isn't it? If it was the folkloric allah akbar of the jihadists brothers, it would’ve been a bit harsh on the Western ear, don’t you think?

It was perfect enough, the movie I mean - I'm just disappointed that Naseem once again fell into a depression and failed to respond. She used to be a moment of comic relief, like Baghdad Bob, during dangerous times. However, as always, just when she is needed for comic relief, she runs away and hides. Well, who can blame her? What in the world could she possibly say in the face of all that evidence from
Wilder that The Koran is a book of filth and God telling people that the cold-blooded murder of innocent people is a holy and wonderful thing to do - almost as good as suicide (which they call 'becoming a Martyr. Ah well, after all, he is pretty brave for a Muslim that has not quite yet lost all his marbles.
Fitna strengthens our awareness of the EVIL in the Koran. Unfortunately Muslims do not understand the word SHAME. They should walk in SHAME before humanity.

Well Fitna has been released for a full day now and my my…the kaffur have been disappointed…”is this it?, where the reaction from muslims that you so expected, I mean it’s Friday”…what a let down!!!!
The word Fitna here in Pak is used in the context of milk going sour…Wilders could not even get the context right.
I think though that there was little to be gleaned from the film (and yes I have viewed it) from those in the “know”…nod nod wink wink, so much of it went over old ground but put together it will possibly have terrified the un-initiated kaffur…and that’s a shame isn’t it.
Ibn, Hal, ….you must not worry about 9/11…that was many yesterdays ago…instead you need to focus on the bar graphs Wilders put up….most impressive was how he had to shrink and shrink the previous graphs to make the next one fit….now that was impressive and significant.
Those graphs show Wilders pleading with you…to stop the Islamisation of Europe….but this will not be possible, your governments are not with you, you are not focused, …instead…your grand childrens (wearing their beards and hijabs) will see this film and laugh on the puny efforts, ….the last ditch attempts kaffur made to stop the birth of the Halal bank, and the Halal economy of Europe.
His film did not capture how Islam is trying to educate your childrens in schools, in the media, in the street and the shop, or over (high quality) loudspeaker at 5am...about the peace embedded within Islam….about how the kaffur will be happier and more disciplined if only you will practice submission to Allah SWT.
Your granddaughters soon will themselves spend Friday evenings in the mosque, in preference to baring themselves while smoking and drinking in pubs and clubs…(spit)!
Making these type of films shows that the kaffur has become skilful in editing….but these editions could well take us all to judgement day…and the few kaffur who pray will find Jesus PBUh doing a Hi-5 with Muhd PBUH on that day…do you really want to see that?
Forget about Fitna, we muslims already have..it’s a non-entity, a black dot…move along peoples …nothing new to see here.
